Ishya Foundation is offering a wonderful opportunity for student volunteers and senior mentors to help skill young, under-privileged students and professionals with spoken English as a tool for higher education and an essential skill for employability.

Each batch of students has 5 kids that go through a 3 month course of interactive online classes, 3 days a week, each class for an hour. The fees for the 3 month course is Rs.800 only.

We are looking for:

1. Deserving students who can benefit from these english communication classes. We are looking for 16-20 year old underprivileged boys and girls who are educated and can read and write in english, but are not confident enough to speak. (They would require a desktop/ smart phone with good internet connectivity as the classes will be held online)

2. Senior Mentors who can help the children practice Spoken English by connecting with them. They would also act as mentors to these students and guide them in their academic, professional and personal life ( About 1-2 hours commitment would be needed per week)

3. Student Volunteers who can undertake the responsibility of supervising the classes, with earnestness and regularity. The main role is to coordinate with students to understand any issues they are facing with the classes and connect with the teacher for that particular batch once a week to track progress of the students. (They will be given Volunteering certificates for each 3 month module that they support)
